This year, Honmaru turns 20 years old! It’s the perfect opportunity to reactivate one of the major initiatives that brought Honmaru global recognition: Tekken 3 Online – that’s where it all started. Additionally, with the new Arkadyzja version (0.0.25), you can now find a ranking table inside the app!
Arkadyzja inspired the return of Tekken 3 Online Ranking
Last year, Ren launched the Arkadyzja project, which revitalized Honmaru’s roots and brought us back to the retro world map with full force. Now, games from the original PlayStation and Dreamcast can support up to four players with rollback, along with modern enhancements like lobbies, chat, spectator mode, and more—features that were previously unimaginable, now at our fingertips.
It’s no surprise that on Arkadyzja, the timeless Tekken 3 Online has gained immense popularity, ranking as the most played game. Driven by nostalgia for the good old days, I began working on reactivating the ranking system.
The reactivation of the Tekken 3 Online ranking aligns perfectly with Honmaru 20th anniversary.
New Tekken 3 Online Ranking
Tekken 3 Online ranking system has been rewritten using new technology, bringing back the beloved ranking system from over 15 years ago (originally started by vons and me). This new version includes enhanced features, bug fixes, and improved responsiveness, making it accessible on any device—mobile, tablet, or desktop.
I hope it brings you as much joy to play as it has brought me during its development! :)
